Severe Weather Policy:
Generally, if Azle schools are closed due to severe weather, we are closed.
However, many factors are involved. We reserve the right to make our own decision, and may decide to remain closed, open late, close early, a combination of these, or not close at all. If we cannot get adequate staff to The ARK to maintain ratios, we MUST remain closed.

Good day Parents / Directors
This week the children are working on the Trampoline.
It promotes:
1. Stability - the ability to sense a shift in the relationship in the body parts that alters one's balance and the ability to rapidly adjust to these changes.
2. Gross Motors Skills - The development, movement and control of the large muscles in the body.
3. Locomotion - the total body movement in which the body is propelled from one point to another.
To develop fine motor control and coordination we will be doing different activities with balls on a rope.

This map illustrates routes from Azle to The ARK, from The ARK to Lake Worth and from Lake Worth to The ARK.
Also (not to scale), an alternate route along Silver Creek-Azle Rd., From Azle to The ARK and reverse. Knowing these alternate routes will allow you to avoid accidents and traffic on Hwy 199.

Construction on highway 199 hasn't interfered with acces to The ARK, but accidents might.
There are several alternate routs. Grab a map on the front desk
